Directions for Visitors

Woods-Penniman Building

To get to campus from I-75, see Directions to Berea College. The Center for International Education is located on the second floor of the Woods-Penniman Building.

Woods-Penniman, built in 1930 as the women’s gymnasium, is part of the Crossroads Complex at the intersection of KY 595 (Main Street/Scaffold Cane Road) and KY 21 (Prospect Street). Our offices are right inside the front entrance in Rooms 205 and 207 (see staff directory for office locations).

Parking

Please see the campus map for visitor parking lots. Guests of the college may obtain visitor passes at the Public Safety Office (first floor Woods-Penn). Visitor passes are issued at no charge directly to the operator of the vehicle. Vehicles parking on campus at any time without a properly displayed decal or pass are subject to citations.

If you need to drop off materials, or in case of inclement weather, see “Dropping off Materials” in the sidebar.

Lodging

If you plan to stay in town before or after your visit, historic Boone Tavern Hotel is located conveniently across the street from the Crossroads Complex. Other accommodations can be found through Berea Tourism.
