Suites<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redroof.com\/\">Red Roof Inn<\/a>, and others.<\/p>\n<p>Unless otherwise noted, all events take place in Gray Auditorium of Presser Hall. \u00a0To reach Presser Hall from exit 76 of I-75, turn toward Berea when exiting the interstate and travel approximately one mile on Hwy 21\/25\/Chestnut Street. \u00a0At stoplight #7 Presser Hall will be immediately on your right.<\/p>\n<p>To access limited and handicapped parking behind Presser Hall, turn at the driveway on your right just before stoplight #7 between Knapp Hall (large brick building) and Haaga House (white house that is now houses Admissions).<\/p>\n<p>To reach Presser Hall from Boone Tavern or the Tavern parking lot, exit front of Tavern (side facing the flag) and walk down Chestnut Street approximately three blocks. \u00a0Presser Hall will be on your left just before the stoplight and is located between Elizabeth Rogers dormitory and Knapp Hall.<\/p>\n<p>PARKING: Two hour parking is available throughout the city on the street. \u00a0Most highly recommended is a large lot behind Boone Tavern that offers some parking. \u00a0There will be limited parking available behind Presser Hall. \u00a0Do not park in college lots that require a permit or you may receive a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>RESTAURANTS: \u00a0There are many dining\u00a0options in and around Berea. \u00a0There are more options in Richmond, which is a fifteen minute drive north of Berea. \u00a0Below is a list of restaurants that are within walking distance of the Symposium events:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/plz54ab\">El Rio Grande<\/a> Mexican Restaurant\u2014exit Presser Hall to the left and walk one block<\/li>\n<li>Noodle Nirvana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>All establishments below are on the Square near Boone Tavern and can be reached by exiting Presser Hall to the right and walking a couple of blocks.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/yelp.com\/biz\/berea-coffee-and-tea-co-berea\">Berea Coffee &amp; Tea<\/a>\u2014sandwiches, quiches<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.papalenos.com\/\">Papaleno\u2019s<\/a>\u2014pastas, pizzas<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.boonetavernhotel.com\/\">Boone Tavern<\/a> is open for breakfast, lunch, and supper but will likely take longer than the other restaurants as it is a more formal dining experience. \u00a0The Tavern is also the only place in town that offers alcoholic drinks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SHOPPING\/LOOKING: While in town you may want to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/robiebooks.com\/\">Robie Books<\/a>, which is located about one block from Presser Hall and about four blocks from Boone Tavern\/town center. \u00a0There are a host of galleries, gift shops, jewelry shops, artisans, antique stores, and much more in Berea. \u00a0Most of these are located either in the town center near Boone Tavern or in Old Town Berea (where most public galleries are located). \u00a0Anyone in town can direct you to Old Town, which is about one-half mile from Boone Tavern\/town center. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitberea.com\/shopping\/listings\/artisan-village\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View a\u00a0list of businesses in the Old Town Artisan Village district of Berea<\/a>. \u00a0Most people who visit Berea want to stop in at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentuckyartisancenter.ky.gov\/\">Kentucky Artisan Center<\/a>, which is a short drive outside of town.<\/p>\n<p>HIKING\/NATURE: Berea College offers thousands of acres of woods\u2013our spiritual campus\u2013to the public. \u00a0Two of the most popular spots for nature lovers are both a short drive outside of town and immediately put you in the mountains. \u00a0We recommend a visit to <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/forestry\/indian-fort-mountain-trail\/\">Indian Fort Mountain and the Pinnacles<\/a>\u00a0(the West pinnacles offer a view of the bluegrass region while the East pinnacles will offer a view of the Appalachian mountains)\u00a0, and\/or <a href=\"http:\/\/naturepreserves.ky.gov\/naturepreserves\/pages\/jbstephenson.aspx\">Anglin Falls <\/a>in the John B. Stephenson Memorial Forest. \u00a0Trips to both can be as long or as short as you desire.
