Founded in 2011, the Carter G. Woodson Center for Interracial Education at Berea College focuses our work on the interrelationship of race and poverty through coalition building. Overall, our goal is to build coalitions for anti-racism in the wider area of Central and Eastern Kentucky.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

PACE: Keep Moving Toward Justice focuses on our work on four pillars. Namely, Poverty, Anti-Racism, Coalition building, and Education. As a result of our commitment to these pillars, the Carter G. Woodson Center will produce scholarship and workshops dedicated to advancing our goals. We will also invite four speakers to present their work each year. We will create video content aligned with our pillars on social media and produce events for the Berea College Campus and Community. We hope that you will join us on this journey as we Keep Moving Toward Justice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Carter G.
