The timeline should help facilitate such work as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>getting passports and visas,<\/li>\n<li>scheduling appropriate inoculations\u00a0and<\/li>\n<li>processing student loan and grant applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Timeline:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Before December 13, 2019:<\/strong> Prior to creating a proposal, faculty interested in proposing an international summer course should discuss the possibility with his\/her Department Chair and his\/her Division Chair and submit the attached &#8220;Intent to Propose a BIST Course Form.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>January 31, 2020:<\/strong> Faculty who want to propose an international summer course submit to the Office of Academic Affairs via Susan Vaughn:<br \/>\n(1) a completed Summer International Course Proposal Form (see attached)<br \/>\n(2) a tentative budget (airfare, food, lodging, fees, books, other), and<br \/>\n(3) a draft itinerary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 2, 2020:<\/strong> The Office of Academic Affairs, in consultation with the Center for International Education, reviews proposals.
