At this point we have one on-campus student in pre-cautionary quarantine because of travel, and none in any other sort of quarantine.\u00a0 No on-campus employees are in quarantine at present.<\/p>\n

The Madison County Health Department reported 16, 2, 0, and 1 new cases for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and yesterday. \u00a0The number of current active cases is at 60.\u00a0 Our 7-day average of new cases per day has decreased to 6, keeping us now well into the Yellow Zone <\/strong>at 5.8 new cases per day per 100,000 residents.\u00a0 The total number of deaths in the county attributable to COVID-19 as reported by the State remains at 111.<\/p>\n Gov. Beshear reported 544, 426, 215, and 263 new COVID-19 cases and\u00a05, 5, 11, and 3 new deaths for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today, respectively, in Kentucky.\u00a0 The 7-day average of the number of new cases\/day has decreased a bit to 462 and the average of numbers of deaths\/day remains 8.\u00a0 The latest test positivity rate has continued to move downward to 2.61%.<\/p>\n Gradual improvement is continuing in the Commonwealth and in Madison County.<\/p>\nThe Madison County Health Department announces a local vaccination opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n
