Guidelines for Students Applying for Grants from the English Department<\/h2>\n

The English Department has several funds that can be used to support student-initiated travel to and\/or participation in off-campus:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. conferences<\/li>\n
  2. workshops<\/li>\n
  3. readings<\/li>\n
  4. lectures<\/li>\n
  5. internships or independent studies<\/li>\n
  6. team-initiated studies<\/li>\n
  7. domestic or international study<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Applications will be reviewed by a committee of program faculty. Preference will be given to applicants who are: majoring in English, who have not previously received funding from the Department, and who will be returning to the College for at least one semester.<\/p>\n

    Students receiving grants from the English Department should submit a brief report within two weeks of the completion of the event or program.\u00a0 It should be submitted electronically to Anne Bruder.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
