Recycling and composting are some of the ways we can reduce our environmental impact.<\/p>\n<p>For services outside normal business hours, charges may apply.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=&#8221;Recycling Request&#8221; style=&#8221;custom&#8221; custom_background=&#8221;#c75b12&#8243; custom_text=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; size=&#8221;lg&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-recycle&#8221; button_block=&#8221;true&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; link=&#8221;url:http%3A%2F%2Fbc-iservicedesk.berea.edu%3A81%2Fhome.html||target:%20_blank|&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Recyclable<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cardboard<\/li>\n<li>Paper<\/li>\n<li>Plastic and glass bottles<\/li>\n<li>Cans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Landfill<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Plastic bags<\/li>\n<li>Bubble wrap<\/li>\n<li>Plastic silverware<\/li>\n<li>Soiled paper products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Additional Recycling<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/iss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Information Systems and Services (IS&amp;S)<\/a> recycles electronic media (i.e., CD\u2019s, disks, etc.) as well as electronic equipment by stripping usable parts from obsolete or inoperable equipment and then recycling the rest through an external vendor for processing.<\/p>\n<p>The College also minimizes the amount of waste generated by building renovations by requiring contractors to recycle\/reuse as much demolition and construction debris as possible.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Zero-Waste Events<\/h3>\n<p>We are happy to assist in ensuring your event creates as little waste as possible. Use the request so that Facilities Management, Catering, and the Office of Sustainability can help plan your zero-waste event.
