Some examples of these services include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building Maintenance and Operations<\/li>\n<li>Housekeeping for Educational and General facilities (classrooms, common areas, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Grounds Maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Energy Management<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure Support<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Premium Services<\/h3>\n<p>Facilities does not receive a budget allocation for these services and they must be funded by the requesting department. Some examples of Premium Services include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Event Support<\/li>\n<li>Moves and Deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Engineering, Construction, and Project Management Services<\/li>\n<li>Special Requests (building bookshelves, hanging white boards, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Auxiliary Unit requests (Campus Services, Athletics, Housing, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1571338423395{background-color: #ededed !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;98&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Employee Spotlight<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>Carl Carpenter<\/strong> came to Berea College in 1953 when he was 27 years old to begin a temporary job that paid 90 cents an hour.
