Since leaving Berea, I&#8217;ve made an effort to be involved in international and intercultural arenas. I had applied to Hewlett-Packard and my resume was selected because the company wanted to staff a specialist on a German account with appropriate language skills. I got the job and benefited a lot because I skipped the entry-level stage and directly went to a specialist role because of the business need. Over the past few years I have developed a new passion&#8211;psychometrics and educational research. However, the two are not mutually exclusive.
