(Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/archived-surveys-studies\/#2\">Archived Reports<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2019\/10\/NSSE2019Report.pdf\">NSSE, Spring 2019 Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI)&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010534127-4b7ce10d-f58c&#8221;]Berea students participated in the Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) in 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and most recently in 2018. The Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory was used along with a Berea-specific survey to assess a wide array of areas on campus. In general, satisfaction ratings have risen in most all areas covered. (Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/archived-surveys-studies\/#2\">Archived Reports.)<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2019\/09\/SSI-2018-Report.pdf\">Student Satisfaction Inventory Report, 2018<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;National College Health Assessment (NCHA)&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010582215-6a4d3f13-2b73&#8243;]The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) was created by the American College Health Association (ACHA) to track changes in health issues confronting college students. Berea has administered the survey four times (Spring 2006, Fall 2008, Spring 2010, and Spring 2016). The survey data allows the ACHA and participating institutions to identify factors affecting academic performance, characterize the health of the nation\u2019s students, and develop means to address concerns, ultimately improving the health and welfare of college students.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/12\/NCHA-Trend-Report2c-June-20161.pdf\">NCHA Trend Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Graduating Seniors&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;3&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Berea-Specific Graduating Senior Survey&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010629093-bb0e19c3-2fc9&#8243;]Berea College graduating seniors are asked to complete a comprehensive questionnaire (a national instrument was used until Academic Year 2012-13) that assesses basic demographics, importance of and progress toward attainment of college outcomes, personal growth and college contribution of areas, satisfaction, and ratings of core values.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2021\/11\/Final-Graduating-Senior-Survey-Report-Fall-2021.pdf\">Graduating Seniors Trend Charts<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Career Develoment and Intership Trend Report &#8220;]Addition to Graduation Seniors Survey beginning in 2012-13<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2022\/01\/Career-Development-and-Internship-9-Year-Trend-Report.pdf\">Career Development and Intership Trend Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Alumni&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;4&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Berea-Specific Alumni Survey&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010677692-06358e16-8020&#8243;]Berea College graduates from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s responded to a short online survey (in Spring 2010) aimed at collecting information about their continuing education and current employment. The survey also asked graduates to describe how their college education has affected their lives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2016\/04\/AlumniSurveyReport2010.pdf\">Alumni Survey Report, Spring 2010<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;ACT Alumni Outcomes Survey&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010716670-cbe3361d-0aad&#8221;]In Fall 2010, the Work Colleges Consortium in collaboration with ACT administered the Alumni Outcomes Survey online to Work College graduates from 1992-93 through 2006-07. This online survey was aimed at collecting information about their continuing education, current employment, educational outcome and experiences, and work program experiences specifically.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2016\/04\/WCC_AlumniOutcomesReport.pdf\">Alumni Outcomes Survey, Fall 2010<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Selected Student Groups&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;HEDS Research Practices Survey&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010746533-1997e125-7754&#8243;]Students enrolled in GSTR 110 courses in the Fall 2010 were asked to participate in the HEDS Research Practices Survey online.\u00a0 This survey explores the experiences and opinions of college students concerning academic research. Its purposes are to (1) study students\u2019 research habits, (2) use these findings to improve the ways we help students develop their research skills, and (3) determine what changes occur in research abilities as students progress through their academic careers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2016\/04\/ResearchPracticesFall2010.pdf\">HEDS Research Practices Survey Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Student Learning Initiatives and Course Assessment&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;6&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There are no current reports.\u00a0 (Go to<a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/archived-surveys-studies\/#2\"> Archived Reports<\/a>.)<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Employees&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;7&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Health and Wellness&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010817362-4866da11-1642&#8243;]The Work Colleges Consortium Research Group created a survey aimed at understanding students&#8217; wellness issues from the point of view of Labor Supervisors.\u00a0 The survey was conducted in the spring term 2013.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2016\/04\/HealthWellnessReportWCCSpring2013.pdf\">Work\/Labor Supervisors: Health and Wellness Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Faculty&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;8&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;HERI Faculty Survey&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010846267-8e3d8746-e4a2&#8243;]Berea&#8217;s teaching faculty have participated in a national survey which is constructed and administered by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI).\u00a0 The survey is designed to assess faculty members&#8217; attitudes, experiences, concerns, job satisfaction, workload, teaching practices, and professional activities.\u00a0 Berea has participated in 1989, 2004, and most recently in 2014.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/ira\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/06\/HERITrendReport.pdf\">HERI Trend Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE)&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1497010875419-caacfee3-6417&#8243;]Berea faculty participated in the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) in Spring 2014.
