    Bio<\/h2>\n

    I came here from a small rural Appalachian town in North Carolina to go to Berea College. Berea has been my home since 1977. I am a proud 1983 graduate of the Berea College Nursing Program.<\/p>\n

    Other than being able to live my passion in nursing, my greatest achievement in life has been to be the mother of my son, Logan Hollis.<\/p>\n

    To say the least, I have had an awesome rewarding career. I have served our beautiful community as a Nurse for 40 years. 38 of those years were at St. Joseph Berea Hospital. There I was found at the bedside of the most critically ill patients in our hospital. If not there, I was teaching Emergency Medical Certifications to Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, and whomever required training in their career, precepting Nursing Students, as well as supervising and training certified nursing assistants.<\/p>\n

    I am now honored to be back at Berea College sharing my passion with students as an adjunct faculty member in the Nursing Department.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
