We learned so much about our students, including their favorite books. Our students are a vital part of daily office operations for us. As part of this project Sarah and Jenna worked with students to dye tablecloths with indigo dye in order to use them at CIE events like TGIF (Think Globally, It&#8217;s Friday) and other events. Congrats to them both. As part of this celebration of Chad&#8217;s hard work for nearly the last decade we gathered for a delicious dinner, fun, fellowship, and even sung a song in his honor. This year&#8217;s retreat was a special event because it also was the day that it was announced internally that Dr. Linda Strong-Leek would be serving as Provost for Berea College beginning on July 1st, 2019. There, we learned about Ali&#8217;s journey to become &#8220;The Greatest,&#8221; and had a wonderful lunch at Shirley Maes Cafe. While there, Shirley told us where to find the gym, (right down the street from her restaurant), where Ali trained as a young man.
