How to Scan on Toshiba Copiers<\/h2>\n

1. Insert a USB Flash Drive. A message will appear in the lower left of the touch screen\u2014\u201cUSB device found.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Place a document on the glass or in the document feeder<\/p>\n

3. On the touch screen:<\/p>\n

  1. Touch FILE\/USB<\/li>\n
  2. Select USB Media<\/li>\n
  3. Touch OK<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    4. Touch Common Settings<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Select black or full color<\/li>\n
    2. Select a specific resolution or use the 200 default resolution<\/li>\n
    3. Choose\u00a0color mode<\/em>\u00a0(color, grayscale, auto color.\u00a0All<\/em>\u00a0our copiers are capable of scanning in full color. This is true\u00a0even if the copiers only print black-and-white)<\/li>\n
    4. Choose\u00a0original mode:<\/em>\n
        \n
      1. text<\/strong>: all-text documents,<\/li>\n
      2. photo<\/strong>: for photographs,<\/li>\n
      3. text\/photo<\/strong>: for an original that combines both,<\/li>\n
      4. printed image<\/strong>: for something you\u2019re scanning from a magazine, newspaper or other pre-printed source where there is a \u201cdot\u201d pattern on the photos.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. Select single or book (2-sided printing)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        5. Touch OK
        \n6. Touch Scan
        \n7. When the document(s) have been scanned, touch Job Finish. Wait until you see the message, \u201cUSB device can be removed,\u201d then remove the Flash Drive.
