About Rick:<\/h2>\n

What is one thing you wish you had known when\u00a0 you first started college?<\/h3>\n

“I wish I had known to avoid connecting your campus email to the delivery apps, make a gmail for that or something else just don’t use your campus email.”<\/p>\n

If\u00a0 you had to pick three words to describe yourself, what would they be?<\/h3>\n

“Experienced, I have been at Berea College for 7 years total now and I have seen lots of change and learned a lot about the campus culture in my time.<\/p>\n

Fun\/funny, there is not many scenarios that I won’t try to make people smile\/make jokes. I love laughing and having fun, life isn’t that serious.<\/p>\n

Servant, I am always happy to help, I might make jokes or poke fun at someone while I do it but I really do want to help and be there for as many people as I possibly can.”<\/p>\n

What is your favorite spot on campus?<\/h3>\n

“My favorite place on campus changed from time to time but is most consistently Edwards Residence Hall(even though it won’t be a hall anymore). This is where I have some of my greatest memories. Aside from my memories, my favorite place is probably CPO lounge because you can talk to so many people and don’t even have to move!”<\/p>\n

What is one quote you live by?<\/h3>\n

“I try to live by C.H. Sturgeon’s statement “By perseverance the snail reach the ark” the thought is similar to many other quotes but the extra idea that the slowest animal people typically think of goes through much adversity, including others stampeding in the direction of success, most of those animals bigger and stronger than it, can still persevere and make it to that same space of success is motivating and inspiring.”<\/p>\n

Is there anything else you would like to share?<\/h3>\n

“Try things outside if your comfort zone. If you someone makes you feel bad for that they are the jerk not you!
