Not only is cycling to and from class a convenient form of transportation for students both on and off campus, but it also encourages reduced use of fossil fuels, highlights dedication to sustainable transportation practices, and is consistent with Berea College\u2019s Great Commitments.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4473&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Bike Rental Program<\/h2>\n<p>The Berea College Bike Club (BCBC) is an initiative launched strictly for students by the Office of Sustainability in an effort to increase Berea College student access to affordable active transportation through our campus bike rental program. All on-campus students are eligible to request a bike for the academic term, as inventory allows. For more information, please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.berea.edu\/sustainability\/bereacollegebikeclub\/\"><strong>FAQ and Program rules section here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Repair Services<\/h2>\n<p>The Berea College Bike Program offers complimentary services for the Berea College campus community, including assistance with routine maintenance and basic repairs for personal bikes.<\/p>\n<h3>OPEN SHOP HOURS:<br \/>\n<em>Spring 2023<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Tuesday, 10-11 AM<br \/>\nWednesday, 3-5 PM<br \/>\nThursday, 3-5 PM<br \/>\nFriday, 10-11 AM and 3-5 PM<\/p>\n<h2>Repair Stations<\/h2>\n<p>Multiple bicycle repair stations, or \u201cFixit Stations,\u201d are located on campus to provide student, faculty, and staff cyclists with tools to repair their own bicycles, at no cost. Five stations have been installed, located between Fairchild and Alumni Building, at Clover Bottom (where the Office of Sustainability is housed), at the Ecovillage, at Blue Ridge Residence Hall, and at the Pinnacles. For more information on those locations, <a href=\"https:\/\/bereaedu.wpenginepowered.com\/sustainability\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/121\/2018\/11\/Bike-Repair-Work-Stations-Map.pdf\"><strong>please refer to the campus bike repair station map<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Surplus Bike Program<\/h2>\n<p>The Office of Sustainability\u2019s Bike Program works in partnership with Public Safety to bike abandoned on campus.
