Teen Mentoring Program

Berea Teen Mentoring (BTM) brings together youth aged 13 to 15 from the Berea community in a group setting for mentorship and enrichment programs. The goal of the BTM program is to encourage personal growth in the teen participants through mentorship from Berea College students in a safe, fun and intellectually stimulating environment.

“BTM is an afterschool program that focuses on leadership, service and recreation. Working with BTM has been the highlight of my college experience. Knowing that I can be a resource for these teens makes what I’m doing now worthwhile.” – Michele Gardner, ‘12

The student staff members of BTM work to create programming for Berea youth that includes education and community service opportunities, allowing teens to develop academically and to become more involved in the community.
