Dr. Libby Jones, Professor of English, has been selected to participate in this summer’s Institute on Infusing  East Asian Studies into the Undergraduate Curriculum at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i.  She and other participants in the Institute will undergo intensive training in Chinese and Japanese art, history, literature, philosophy, and religion with some of the world’s best-known scholars in these fields.  The goal of the Institute is to increase learning opportunities for undergraduates by equipping faculty not already in Asian Studies to teach about China and Japan.
