Scheduling a Workshop
Consultants can come to your class to give workshops on a variety of writing subjects, including a basic overview of Writing Resources and the services we provide, information on correct citation and incorporating sources, navigating language, tips for first-year writers, and more. We also offer whole class consults where two consultants can provide individual feedback to students during in-class writing sessions. We develop and tailor workshops based on instructor requests and needs. To schedule an in-class workshop, please fill out and submit an online request form at least one week prior to the requested date. Please provide specific details about your students’ needs, including supporting information (such as syllabi, assignment, prompts, or examples) to help us provide the best possible service to your students.
If you would like to bring your class to the Center for Teaching and Learning (on the lower level of Hutchins Library) for a workshop or presentation, please contact Amy McCleese Nichols, Director of Writing Resources, to discuss scheduling options. You can reach her at x3269 or amy_nichols@berea.edu.
