Biography

Philip Vogel is from Jessamine County, KY and has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in forestry from the University of Kentucky. Prior to coming to Berea College, he worked for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Natural Resources Program as a nurseryman. Philip volunteers as a groundskeeper for a church camp and enjoys music, songwriting, art and American literature.
