Similarly, additional generous donors have provided funds for several awards with which the Faculty of the Department for Studies of Religions and Spirituality acknowledges and celebrates superior academic achievement in studies of religions and spiritualities by students of Berea College. Each year, the Faculty in the Department for Studies of Religions and Spirituality bestows four major academic awards for superior academic performance and achievement: (a) the Jasper E. Dixon Memorial Award; (b) the Frank and Florence Hutchinson Endowment Award; (c) the Louella A. Knapp Memorial Award; and (d) the Bishop and Mrs. Y. Y. Tsu Award.
