Phelps Stokes
A 1966 Berea College graduate who earned his PhD. from Howard University, Dr. Fleming was the founding director of the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center and director of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Currently he is the executive director for the travelling exhibition, “America I Am: African American Imprint on America.” Co-sponsored with the BCC and AAAS.
