Coal, like music, courses through the veins of Grammy Award winner Kathy Mattea, who is known for her songs with introspective lyrics and social activist themes. Her presentation incorporates stories from her West Virginia family history and her current environmental advocacy, combined with a slide show and a performance of songs from her 2008 CD, Coal.
