Girguis, the John Loeb Associate Professor of Natural Science at Harvard U., directs the Girguis Lab and also serves as research engineer for the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. His research, which resides at the crossroads of microbial ecology, physiology, and biochemistry, focuses on deep sea microorganisms. Berea College Science Lecture.
