Social Change and the Highlander Center.

Serving as a catalyst for grassroots organizing and movement building in Appalachia and the South, Highlander develops leadership, knowledge, and courage among diverse people
collectively fighting for justice, equality, and sustainability. Williams, coordinator of
youth and intergenerational organizing for the Seeds of Fire program, will share some
of the history of the Center and her own experiences. Co-sponsored with the LJAC.
