Blind Injustice: Wrongful Convictions and Criminal Justice Reform in America

University of Cincinnati law professor Godsey is the co-founder and director of the Ohio Innocence Project, which to date has freed from prison 28 wrongfully convicted Ohioans who served 525 years for crimes they didn’t commit, including time on death row. Accompanied by one of his exonerees, Godsey, a leading legal scholar, activist, ex-NYC prosecutor, attorney, and the author of his recent book Blind Injustice, will discuss flaws in the criminal justice system that lead to wrongful convictions and suggest solutions.
