Carlos Núñez, a preeminent artist on the Celtic music scene, comes from Galicia, Spain’s Celtic region and is considered the undisputed master of Galicia’s signature musical instrument, the gaita, or bagpipes. Núñez has expanded the borders of Celtic music to include Flamenco, Fado, Cuban, Mexican, Brazilian, and classical music.
