The data represented above may vary or conflict with data reported by the Madison County Health Department due to the timing of reporting periods.  The dashboard will be updated weekly when classes are in session.

Important Terms

Student in Isolation: An on-campus student currently in isolation because of a positive COVID-19 test.

Student in Quarantine: An on-campus student who has been in close contact (within six (6) feet of a confirmed COVID-19 infected person for at least 15 minutes or more). Close Contacts are typically contacted by the Health Department and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, regardless of testing results.

Student in Precautionary Quarantine: An on-campus student who has self-reported cold or flu-like symptoms and is placed in quarantine as a precaution until receiving a negative COVID-19 test result.

Employee in Quarantine: A Berea College employee who has been in close contact (within six (6) feet of a confirmed COVID-19 infected person for at least 15 minutes or more).

Employee in Isolation: A Berea College employee currently in isolation because of a positive COVID-19 test.
