Berea’s Computer Science Department is well-known for its caring faculty and strong curriculum. The Department offers a major in Computer and Information Science with four different choices of concentrations, as well as a minor in Computer Science.
The Department also supports students in a variety of ways outside of our traditional classroom programs. Each year, many computer science students are placed in a wide variety of research and internship programs all around the country.
The Department also regularly supports internships, invites outside speakers, and arranges for students to visit computing conferences and sites.
Support the Computer Science Alumni Advisory Fund
Alumni and members of the Computer Science Department have established a fund to assist computer science students with profession needs such as travel to conferences and access to special software and hardware. A panel of alumni and faculty jointly determine awards.
