Indoor Air Quality Program

Environmental Health Safety works with the Berea College Facilities Department on all indoor air quality concerns. The Indoor Air Quality Program outlines procedure for response to various indoor air quality concerns and to prevent potentially unhealthy conditions from occurring at the College including the Flood Response and Mold Prevention Program. Safety Training

Safety training provided by EHS, attached is a list of trainings offered. If you have any questions or are interested in signing up for a training contact Mike Morris.

Environmental Compliance Programs

Berea College has several environmental compliance programs. Waste generation guidelines, air quality permit, and Spill prevention control and countermeasures.

Hot Work Permit

The hot work permit is written procedures to prevent fires resulting from any temporary operation involving open flames or producing heat and/or sparks, as required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.252, 29 CFR 1926.352 and NFPA Standard 51B.

Incidence Reports

Attached are the forms you will need if you have an incidence report to fill such as an injury, accident, ignition or spill.
