Prospective Graduate Degrees and Careers

What can you do with a PSJ degree?

There are those who dismiss Peace and Social Justice Studies as unpractical, but what you learn in PSJ can enrich any major or career. No matter what life path you choose, you will use your knowledge, skills and insights in critical thinking, effective work, and compassionate action for peace with justice.

A minor or major in Peace and Social Justice Studies prepares students for a wide variety of careers, or graduate study, in the fields of law, politics, education, social work, business, community development, and advocacy. With your PSJ degree, you will always find jobs in social justice and peace work. Some jobs may not have salaries, or the salaries and wages may be modest, but there is never any lack of work in our field.

Other students and your faculty will work with you to find internships, graduate programs and jobs to fit your interests and skills.  Two good online sources are:
