New Student Arrival Guide heading

Below are the tasks you’ll complete before arriving on campus in the fall. As steps open, you will be prompted via email and the Navigate Berea app to complete them.

Step 1 - Opens in February

Communication about each step will go to your Berea College email and the Navigate Berea app.

❏ Set up your Berea College email
❏ Download Navigate Berea App
Log into MyBerea portal
Enter the Berea Bridge lottery if interested in attending the Bridge program
❏ Complete FAFSA verification process by May 1 (if selected)

Step 2 - Opens in March/April

Submit Course Preferences
❏ Upload resume for job placement
❏ Complete experience assessment for campus job placement
Complete Housing application and submit immunization records
Send in selfie for Student ID
Fill out Designated Contact Information
Review financial aid offer and expected payment amount
❏ Sign up for Summer Connections weekend (June 23-24 or July 14-15)

Step 3 - Opens in May

❏ Fill out Designated Contact Information
❏ Send in final high school transcript & any AP/IB or dual enrollment credits
❏ Schedule meeting with SST staff for fall course planning
❏ Report outside scholarships to Student Financial Aid Services

Step 4 - Opens in June

❏ Complete Section I of I-9 Form
❏ Music Department Survey
❏ Alcohol Wise training
❏ Meet with SST staff to review fall course schedule

Step 5 - Opens in July/August

❏ Review What to Bring
❏ Review Welcome Week Schedule
❏ Sign up for a move-in time
❏ Enroll in Direct Deposit
❏ Complete Electronic Consent requirement via MyBerea portal for Student Financial Aid Services
❏ Prepare documents for second part of I-9 form
❏ Check email frequently for information about campus job placement (you can anticipate receiving an email no later than the first week of August)
