The Carter G. Woodson Center is hosting a book talk with faculty members on “Violence Against Black Bodies,” Wednesday March 14 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Panelists in this community discussion will include Sandra Weissinger, Elwood Watson and Dwayne Mack. Lunch will be provided. Another session, “Policing Black and Brown Bodies,” will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. with panelists, Sandra Weissinger, Elwood Watson, Tyler Sergent, Dee Hill-Zuganelli and Dwayne Mack. Weissinger and Mack edited the book.
