The trueBlue Experience

We ask that you do not attend your upcoming visit or event at Berea College if you or anyone in your party is not feeling well or showing any COVID-19 symptoms, regardless of vaccination status or a negative test. We will do everything we can to reschedule your on-campus visit, provide you with a virtual visit, or share event highlights with you if you must cancel attending an Admissions Office visit or event. Visit Experience

Celebrate your admittance by seeing Berea College for yourself with three visit options:

1) trueBlue Shadow Visit

Want to really know what it’s like to be a Berea student? Try a Shadow Visit. It is the BEST way to truly immerse yourself at Berea College. You’ll visit our beautiful campus, have the opportunity to stay the night in our Cottage (for free), and shadow a current student host to experience firsthand a day in the life of a Berea College student. While you are shadowing a current student, your family can sit in on a trueBlue Family Visit. On a trueBlue shadow visit, you’ll have the chance to:

Attend class.
Eat at the Mountaineer Dining Hall.
Shadow a work program position.
Visit a Residence Hall.

Shadow visits are available Monday through Friday.

2) Family Visit

Family visits occur on campus and include:

A 20-minute session with an Admissions Representative
A 90-minute walking tour of campus
An opportunity to sit down with an Admissions Counselor to discuss your cost estimate and ask any questions.

Families whose students are participating in a Shadow visit may take advantage of a Family Visit while on campus.

Family visits are available Monday through Friday and families who need overnight accommodations may inquire about staying in Sturt Cottage.

3) Virtual Visit

For admitted students who are unable to travel to campus, an on-demand virtual, live walking tour with a student ambassador, or a virtual meeting with a current student are all options for you! Reserve your Virtual Visit or call our office at 1-800-326-5948.
