Biography
Heather Dent uses art to connect people to nature by gathering rocks, pine cones, and tree bark other natural materials and arranging them to create images and tell stories. You can view her work at Heather Dent’s Studio. She is the founder of Berea Outdoor Adventure, a movement committed to encouraging families to get outside and develop a sense of creativity and self-reliance. She also created the Berea Story Trail, a series of panels along a 1/4 mile pathway at Berea City Park featuring monthly stories and activities. Heather teaches workshops to all ages, but focuses primarily on cultivating the next generation’s love and appreciation for the outdoors.
