In keeping with Berea College’s founding mission to further interracial dialogue between blacks and whites, the Center hosts several opportunities to discuss racial issues. Past campus conversations have included such nationally ranked discussion leaders as:

- Dr. john a powell, author and director of the Haas Institute for a Fair and Equitable Society at Stanford University (see video)
- Mr. Tim Wise, anti-racist essayist, author and educator (see video of Mr. Tim Wise Conversation on Race)
- Peggy McIntosh, feminist scholar and anti-racism activist, associate director of the Wellesley Center for Women, speaker and the founder of the national S.E.E.D Project on Inclusive Curriculum.
