Misogyny as Represented in the Gerasene Demoniac: Woman-Hating as Global Legion and Plague

Misogyny, or woman-hating, in its many forms ultimately leads to terror, hate, and destruction of the female and femaleness. Dr. Cowser, Associate Dean of Black Church Studies and Doctor of Ministry Programs at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, will explore what the story of the Gerasene demoniac can teach us about misogyny, the moral, mental, and emotional health of men, and healing.
