Homecoming Lecture

On the Friday afternoon of homecoming weekend, faculty and students gather to hear a specially arranged talk presented by a Berea Alumnus or Alumna of the Mathematics Department. The following are some of the Alumni who have given past Homecoming Alumni Lectures:

Dr. Jack Hale graduated from Berea in 1949 with a degree in Mathematics. He was a Professor of Applied Mathematics at Brown for 24 years. Jack Hale presented the Alumni Lecture on Stability and Instability.

Mark Suder is 1990 graduate of Berea. His Homecoming Alumni Lecture topic was “Visualizing Source Code”. He is currently a Software Engineer for Titan Systems Corporation in Fairmont, West Virginia.
