Thomas Sinclair

Here is a recent post from Allegro Dance Project about BCTL alum, Thomas Sinclair!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
Meet our beloved music director, Thomas Usher! Thomas is a musician from Hoover, Alabama. He graduated from Berea College where he studied percussion with Tripp Britton. Thomas has performed with The Studio Players and in Kentucky Conservatory Theatre’s Winterfest and Summerfest, with numerous bands and provides live music accompaniment for Allegro Dance Project’s Inclusive Dance Outreach program. This is his fourth season performing with Allegro Dance Project. Not only is Thomas an incredibly gifted musician, composer and band leader- to see him interact with our outreach participants is nothing short of magical. We appreciate his patience, compassion and FUN loving nature and feel so very fortunate to have “Mr. Thomas” as part of our team! 💙
Fun facts:
👟 He once long jumped 21 feet!!!
🌶 He once chugged a big bottle of Tabasco sauce on a bet and won $300!
🙃 Thomas has landed one double front-flip in his entire life

Chris Thomas Hayes ’06

I’ve been acting and puppeteering on theatre stages and TV screens. I’ve had the pleasure of being on a couple popular shows over the years. In 2015 I started as a background muppet performer with Sesame Street and have been blessed enough to be given my own character. I’ve also been fortunate enough to perform live on the Today Show and with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Most importantly, I still get to work with teens and kids in the off season and work with new generations of theatre makers. As of this post, I live in Atlanta, Ga with my drama teacher wife (also a Berea grad) and my son.
