The Continuous Improvement Office would love to help with your project or training needs. We offer a variety of training sessions as well as projects to cultivate a culture of improvement.
Trainings
The Continuous Improvement team is available for training sessions with your office staff, during labor meetings, or for a retreat. These can vary based on your needs from 1 hour up to 4 hours.
WIP Board
For this training session, we discuss the benefits and uses for a WIP Board to manage work in progress. This training can be done in combination with WIP board installation.
Standard Work
For this training session, we discuss creating clear and visual outlines of instructions for a given process. It creates efficiency and can decrease completion times in processes.
5S
For this training session, we discuss strategies for creating a clean and orderly workplace. This training can be done in combination with a 5S project to create more space.
Lean
For this training session, we discuss our office services and Lean methodology. Lean is a mindset focused on improving processes while seeking to improve the lives of people.
Projects
The Continuous Improvement team is available to evaluate problematic processes and find solutions. Our projects require a minimum of 2 meetings.
WIP Board
WIP boards are used to manage work in progress. These can be used for individual work, teamwork, or management. The Continuous Improvement team can help you determine your WIP board needs and manage installation.
Standard Work
We discuss the benefits and uses for creating uniformed instructions for any process. Processes will be studied in order to create an efficient and user friendly set of step-by-step instructions.
5S
5S projects focus on creating a clean and orderly workplace. This could be your personal work-space, digital or hard copy files, or storage spaces. These projects can help by removing unnecessary items, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining an agreed standard.5s
Value Stream Mapping
Value Stream Mapping projects focus on finding and removing pain points in a process. For these projects, we will scope out the project, identify important stakeholders, create current and future value stream maps, implement changes, track results, and celebrate success.
