Habitat for Humanity

Berea College has its own chapter of Habitat for Humanity operating out of the Center for Excellence in Learning Through Service (CELTS). Students across campus volunteer their time across the county on weekends, offering their Saturday’s to help with home-improvement, work at the local Habitat Re-Store, or Rent-A-Worker projects. The annual Habitat International Collegiate Challenge also draws students in by allowing them to reach out to low-income communities across the country every spring.
