The Berea College faculty are truly Renaissance people—educators, scholars, mentors and service-oriented colleagues all at the same time. While the majority of a faculty member’s professional time does go into teaching, many maintain robust scholarly agendas and contribute to their disciplines in very meaningful ways. During the 2018-19 academic year, Berea College faculty and staff published works in university presses and disciplinary journals; they performed and exhibited stunning works of art.
